Cinnamon Roll goodness!

Must admit that the Cinnamon Roll Fair or Place, as it is now referred to, has been a long time favorite morning haunt of ours. It is located below the Denny’s Restaurant next to Maui Dive Shop in the Kamaole Shopping Center.

The very Aloha hosts that own and operate the Cinnamon Roll Fair, Frank and Leslie, have made this adorable little bake shop an even more worth while stopping spot. It is definitely a 10+ on the “must enjoy a delectable treat” scale. We’re just one of many families that have fallen in love with these warm people and their generous menu. Many of our guests and local friends have found the Cinnamon Roll Place to be a treasure trove of delectable, wholesome treats.

There is a whole lotta bun to be had here. The ideal plan is to buy 5 and get the 6th for free. The hand pulled coffee is simply perfect! Just want a good hot or iced coffee, a Latte, Americano, Cappucino, Mocha or White Chocolate Mocha...? It’s dakine!

The breakfast sandwiches are to die for and their huge signature cinnamon rolls are to double die for! As if that sticky cinnamon roll smothered in cinnamon and hot buttery brown sugar isn’t enough, but then they offer toppings for these gi-normously sinful creations! Would you like toasted almonds, macadamia nuts, walnuts or pecans to top this simple pleasure of perfection? How about a smooth cream cheese frosting that truly tastes like cream cheese with just enough sweet to make it superb!? The frosting with macadamia nuts is perfect according to my hubby, Tom. I prefer mine hot out of the oven dripping with the cinnamon sauce that Frank liberally pours over these puppies when they fall out of the pan.

They are not a low-cal diet item ladies and gentlemen, but who really cares. We just walk a little faster to get our gooey roll and swim a little further after laying on Kihei’s white sand beaches. I could just keep on writing about the menu but it’s really easier to explore it yourself. The Ciabatta and Croissant breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Leslie or Frank will also prepare one of the fresh lunch sandwiches on their menu. The bread is soft and the veggies on the sandwich are always crisp.

Frank and Leslie are full of the kind of Aloha
any visitor or local could hope for.
